Important information

As from 1 April 2014, New Seychelles passport can be collected within one working day after receipt of application. Seychelles passport applications from La Digue residents can be submitted at the Seychelles Postal office, La Digue.

Services offered by the Departments of Immigration and Civil Status on Praslin are now available under one roof at the island’s new Customer Service Centre, located at the Pension Fund Complex at Grand Anse Praslin.

Gainful occupation permits (GOP) can be collected between 1 - 5 days after submission of application.

Formalities for the birth registration will be on Monday, Wednesday and Friday by appointment only. The officer can be contacted on Phone Number (+248) 282 25 21 for appointment.

Formalities for the death registration during the weekend and Public Holidays as per below

  • Saturday from 08:30 am until 02:00pm
  • Sunday and Public Holidays 09:00am until 12 noon

Notice to all passengers travelling to Seychelles

Passenger are reminded that they need to provide the correct residential address or accommodation whilst staying in Seychelles.

The Department of immigration and Civil Status should be promptly notify of any change of address by calling any one of the following immigration numbers or send email listed below.
