This Section is mandated to receive, scrutinise and process all applications to obtain work permits (Gainful Occupation Permits) and to address other issues related thereto. Its reach also extends to:

  • Variation of Conditions
  • Renewals and Extensions

Student Permit applications also fall within the purview of the Section.

Its operation is guided by the current Immigration Law in force.
